No review will take longer than 30 seconds or so to read and they will not be similar to a long-winded, complicated "critic" review. I enjoy reading these “critic” reviews but I don't intend to try to emulate them.
There is a scoring system (1-10, with 10 being the best) along with a recommendation of "No", "Yes if the movie interests you" and "Yes for anyone".
1-10 NUMERIC SCORE (This is the more subjective score)
9's and 10's will be rare!
1-4 -Very Bad - Because I see movies of my choice I will rarely see very bad movies but if a movie receives a score of 1 to 4 you know the movie must be awful.
5 - Average - I don't enjoy these movies and for the most part the movie is bad with only a few redeeming qualities.
6 - Pretty Good - I will recommend these movies from time to time but they are nothing special. I generally enjoyed watching them but stay away unless the movie interests you.
7 - Good - I like these movies alot but for some reason or other they don't deserve to be called a classic.
8 - Very Good - I love these movies and many times would categorize them as being classics.
9-10 - Excellent - These are rare, amazing movies that I obviously love. If it gets a 10 I beleive it is the type of movie that only comes around once or twice a decade. 10's are very rarely given and for the most part can only be given retrospectively.
RECOMMENDATION (This is the more objective score)
Yes for anyone obviously means the movie is very good and people with varying tastes will enjoy it.
Yes if the movie interests you means the movie is good to very good but depending on your taste you may or may not like it.
No means you should avoid it unless you have to see it for some reason.
