Wonderwall (1968) – 2/16/08 – Viewed on the small screen
The soundtrack for this movie was written and produced by George Harrison, technically making it the first Beatle solo album. While the soundtrack is okay the movie is teetering on terrible. It is about a butterfly expert who peers through a whole in a wall and becomes obsessed with his neighbor. The premise is interesting but the movie is cheap and tacky, destroying all the potential of an interesting psychological thriller. Most of the music is instrumental and played on the sitar. Every song sounds like a White Album B-side. Even if you love the music it doesn’t fit the movie at all... And if you're wondering, the name of the Oasis song was inspired from this movie.
