Stardust - 8/18/07 - Viewed on the BIG Screen
Stardust is a quirky fantasy tale that is a surprisingly hilarious movie and one of my favorites this summer.  It’s the only movie I’ve ever seen that remotely reminds of “The Princess Bride”, though please take that comparison with a grain of salt.  The cast is loaded and I enjoyed all the performances. Two of my favorites were Robert De’Niro who played a homosexual sky pirate and Ricky Gervais as Ferdy the Fence. Overall, Stardust was a creative and rewarding experience that can be enjoyed for a lot of different reasons.
