Soylent Green – 5/8/07 – Viewed on the small screen
“Tuesdays are Soylent Green Day”. Good Dystopian movie with Charlton Heston and the last movie with Edward G Robinson.  Edward actually died of Cancer shortly after the movie was finished and no one working on the movie knew he was sick.  I guess the scenes where he was dying weren’t actually acting after all.  The movie itself is a little dated and doesn’t hold up as well as some movies from the era (1973) and I could guess the trick ending pretty early in the movie. Also, its predictions on what the future would be like are pretty far off but overall I enjoyed this movie and if you are a fan of dystopian sci-fi movies you will like this.  It is considered a classic.
