Mission Impossible 3 (or III) – 5/11/07 – Viewed on the small screen
Completely predictable.  Did they actually think they could fool us?  I’m sure it worked for the vast majority of millions who saw it. In the end I guess it’s the action that matters anyway.  A bit more realistic than MI2 but still has ridiculous moments, most notably when his “housewife wife” picks up a gun for the first time and takes out a few impostors to save the day.  Other notables are when the helicopter flies through a wind turbine and the scene that involves wire, guns (of course), tennis balls and Tommy sliding down 15 floors on top of a building.  Having said all that, the action is non-stop entertainment, the direction is good and the acting was great.  I didn’t like it that much but I still have to recommend it.
