Last King of Scotland – 5/17/07 – Unfortunately viewed on the small screen
This was an awesome movie.  It was one of the better movies of 2006.  I planned on seeing this movie for months in the fall of 2006 and am upset that I missed it on the BIG screen.  Whitaker was really amazing and deserved the Oscar (I haven’t seen Half Nelsen yet to compare him with Gosling but there is no way it is better than this).  The real-life topic was interesting, the fictional stories that were weaved around it were exciting and the movie was well done.  It was shot on location in Uganda.
