Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix – 12/28/07 – Viewed on the small screen
This is the first Potter movie I’ve reviewed since this site went up in mid-2007. In my opinion every Potter movie is a 6 (out of 10) except the first which is an 8 since it set the template for all to follow. Seeing Harry Potter’s magical world come alive on screen for the first time is exhilarating but by the third movie the excitement wears off and you are left with weak adaptations of great novels. Still, these movies will always be some of the best children’s movies ever made and are always fun to watch.
