Flags of our Fathers – 12/9/07 – Viewed on the small screen
The first of Eastwood’s WWII Iwo Jima films, this one is told from the American viewpoint and focuses on the story surrounding the famous flag raising photo.  It is an excellent film but not quite as powerful and interesting as its counterpart.  See Letters from Iwo Jima review.
