Eastern Promises – 12/31/07 – Viewed on the small screen
Director David Cronenberg is on a hot streak. This is the finest mob movie in years and best of all it’s the Russian mob in London and not an Italian family in New Jersey.  The well-paced plot had a nice mix of action, suspense and drama and the story gives you just enough information to make the concise plot extremely satisfying. The acting is perfect across the board making this movie one of the best of 2007.
