Copland – 5/14/07 – Viewed on the small screen
What a cast! DeNiro, Stallone, Harvey Keitel, Ray Liotta and many more.  Written and directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line).  When it was released it had a lot of buzz because of the actors and director.  Stallone took a huge pay cut to take this role as he was trying to get respect as an actor after a dip in popularity following years of sequels and action movies.  To my surprise he was great and made the movie, especially with the cool final scene. The pace and the acting were also bright spots and the story was interesting enough.  My only complaint about the story was that the conspiracy that sets the scene for the whole movie didn’t make any sense.
