Bobby

Bobby
– 6/8/07 – Viewed on the small screen
This historical drama, written and directed by Emilio Estevez, tells the story of various people who were at the ambassador hotel the day Bobby Kennedy was assasinated.  The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Elijah Wood, William H. Macy, Larry Fishburne, Martin Sheen and literally everyone in between... literally.  It is shocking how many stars are here.  Despite great acting and a compelling real-life story, there is just too much going on in this movie.  There are no less than 10 completely seperate stories culminating with RFK's assasination.  The last 15 minutes were powerful but overall Emilio crammed WAY too much into this 2 hr movie and the end result is watered down and sometimes unfocused.
