1408 – 11/25/07 – Viewed on the small screen
This movie is okay but in the end doesn’t deliver the punch that we’re used to from movies based on Steven King stories. I was interested and terrified for the first 45 minutes but disappointed for the remaining 60. There’s nothing special that makes 1408 stand out. I would like to mention that it was refreshing to see they still attempt scary movies in the Saw-era that don’t rely on gratuitous violence.
